Paleo on the Go

Cara received product to review. No other compensation was given. All opinions expressed are 100% her own.

Lately, I have been working with more personal training clients, most of the time working right up until supper time, and I get home with my kids just in time to eat quick before bed. So, how do I prepare healthy suppers for my family in literally no time?

Well, first of all, I use my crockpot. It has nearly become my best friend.

Secondly, I have been trying out Paleo on the Go, and it has saved me many times when I have had literally no time to cook.

When I started looking into Paleo on the Go, the first thing I went to on their website was Ingredients. Here is what I found:

Include: Grass-fed beef and bison, pastured pork, lamb, duck, free-range chicken, elk, turkey, organic vegetables and fruits, fresh herbs and spices, coconut oil, coconut aminos, coconut milk, coconut flour, arrowroot powder, clarified butter, rendered duck fat, almonds, cashews, and pecans.  Exclude: Soy, wheat, barley, rye, corn, grains, gluten, preservatives, rice, casein, whey, white potatoes, legumes, vegetable oils, and flour.

Oh yes! It is true! No junk, no processed ick, no artificial colors and flavors - just real, whole food! Yes!!!

When I received the Paleo on the Go package in the mail, it was frozen and kept fresh for me to either stick in my freezer or start thawing in my refrigerator. I decided to start trying it right away!

Here is what I tried:

Banana Nut Muffin - not only delicious, but it was filling and moist and full of yummy walnuts!
Pepper Steak - I am not usually a steak fan, but this was absolutely delicious! The meat was well cooked, but it wasn't chewy and hard to eat. Our whole family loved the flavorful combinations of spices, vegetables and meat!
Dirty Rice Cauliflower - I thought this was going to be just a cauliflower veggie mix, but it also had nice chunks of chicken in it. You can see a cooked version of it below. It was full of hearty mushrooms, carrots, celery and other veggies and spices. We really enjoyed it!

Overall, Paleo on the Go totally impressed me with their quality, taste and ease of use! I am a forever fan, and when I can afford it, I will be buying more and more of their products!

If you need a healthy, nutritious meal, and all you have time to do is heat it up over the stove, I highly recommend Paleo on the Go. You will not regret your choice!
